i think i mentioned this latest travel journal unfolds. didn't i?
all the pages i mean. so each page is actually double the size you see here.
i'll take pics of each open section so you can see what i mean.
but right now i need to finish packing the getaway car. tomorrow when the last school bell rings i'm squealing tires out of downtown and…
heading off to my woodsy cabin hidey hole for some reading & writing & resting & creekside stargazing. watch for my smoke signals.

Can I please have the info on the cabin sounds like a great place to get away from it all:)

I thought I heard some lunatic’s squealing tires earlier — hope you didn’t flatten too many pigeons on your way out of town. I am so wanting to do a bunk (as the English say) and hide out in a cabin in the woods, reading, writing, journaling, and ….. playing with my new IPAD…he he he….I got a new job starting in two weeks with a HUGE increase in pay (I was so dismally underpaid for years) that I am going to treat myself. I have been suffering from IPADIUS ENVYOSIOUS ever since you started waving yours around and the only cure is to give in and get one. I am going to spend my weekend finishing my lasagne….garden. We have a large lawn that looks like crap with 14 different weed varieties that my husband insists are grass. I just think he likes to use the power mower once in a while — probably gets a buzz from the gasoline fumes. Have a wonderful weekend and watch out for rattlers.

Ohhh, more Mexico pages. I drink them in. Love the photographs you took and how you put them down in your journal. Now what do you mean by going away to your cabin? What about sharing more of your Mexico journal with us? Who needs a weekend in the woods when there are blog readers needing their fix? ;o))
Will be watching for smoke signals.

what a great visual…speeding car, squealing wheels, your hair and scarf blowing in the breeze. wishing you wonderful quiet, reflective days.

Have a wonderful recharge. I wanted to pass along a reco for a book I think you’d love – The Lover’s Dictionary by David Levithan.
Here is my review: I picked this up to read for Valentine Day week, and am I every so glad that I did. I loved it. It reads like wonderfully written, intimate journal entries. There are sections that simply took my breath away. I’d advise resisting the urge to read straight through. I dipped in a little at a time, and made the book last the entire week. Lovely.

Yeah, back to the same cabin. Love your new travel journal, of course your going to have a class teaching that? I can just hear the tires as you leave school, wave, shout and sing while you travel to your cabin.
