didn’t feel like fussing with the big nikon this weekend and i went off and forgot the little fuji so i used my ipad! works great in a pinch especially if you have a photo app. the photo apps really made a grainy pic sort of spectacular.
i printed these mosaics out 7×7 inches for my inspiration bulletin board because the colors make me happy. they’d also be cool cut into strips 3 pics long in a photobookesque style.
back to the oscars now and my crochet! pics of that coming v.v. soon. prepare to be underwhelmed.

I love the way you have configured the photos. I shall have to “borrow” the Professors iPad once again and give this a go. Not sure that I could manage this on my iphone. Love the idea. Back in the land now and I can tell you this is NOT LA….snow. Yuck. Hope to see you next time.

Catching up on your posts… can’t tell you what a pleasure it is to read about your life. I’m retiring as of this week at age 59. It’s kind of a secret at the moment. It’s time to be a full time painter while there is time in my life. With appreciation, Janice

Just wanted to let you know that I’ve given you and ROD a plug on my blog (again), and also in a new YouTube video (http://youtu.be/cdiSw1BlPyo).
Am delighted that several of my blog readers and friends have either signed for the class recently, or have plans to do so in the near future. The more the merrier!

Absolutely gorgeous. I love that color palette. Be sure and show us a pic once it finds a new place in your home!

I second Laure’s nomination! Can’t wait to see your crochet project — I think Tom would love a crocheted bow-tie for his collar. After much dithering, I decided to get an iphone instead of an ipad. Wish I had done that years ago, I am loving it! Now I just have to figure out the histamtic app.

LOL! You really made me laugh with that “Prepare to be underwhelmed” comment. I’m sure your crochet is beautiful, just like all your other creative endeavors! But thanks for making me smile, anyway 🙂

Beautiful pictures–the reds and turquoise sky are to die for!! The iPad doesn’t take a bad pic if yours are any indication. Can’t wait to see your crochet project–I’ll bet it will be beautiful!!

Hahahaha…underwhelmed….sigh…you never fail to entertain, educate and amuse. You’ve started my day out with a big smile.

lovely, though i think Blogger takes me to your Facebook or twitter page and not the blog. Since being a person who is on the trailing edge of technology this requires more investigation ie watch and read the experiences of others.

Mmmmmm, those photos are delicious. The colors are perfection …

Nah, underwhelmed in context to you? Non existent… Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and using hipstamatic on ipad is a strokette of genius – little brother of stroke…
As my grandmother used to say: a good soldier always has weapons. Your ipad works! Although I find it rather cumbersome to photograph with it. I will use my phone quicker then ipad… Love your selection of snippets around the streets

I’ve been catching up with your last few posts. Dazzling, Mary Ann!
You will love crochet. Just make sure you don’t get tempted to make yourself a skirt or a lampshade (similar!) as not all crocheted things go. But I trust your good taste.
Love your pics, love Tom, so glad you’re having a happy time. XX

Hi Mary Ann~
Just a note to let you know that I’ve nominated you for a Versatile Blog Award. Here’s a link to my blog post that talks about it:
http://laurejanus.blogspot.com/2012/02/versatile-blog-award.html
There’s also a link to the Versatile Award site that explains the premise behind the award. I picked your blog because I always leave with something I didn’t have before, whether it’s inspiration, validation, information, or a smile. Sometimes all of the above! I always read your posts regardless of how many posts I have in my reader or how tired I may be. Thanks for your contribution to the blog world, your words make a difference to me and many others, I’m sure. You’re welcome to choose your own favorite blogs to award but please don’t feel obligated to do so. People are busy and this isn’t meant to be one more thing to add to the to-do list. Just know that your blog brightens my day!
Cheers ~

Beautiful pictures, Mary Ann! I can’t imagine it’s easy using the iPad as a camera either.

I strongly suspect ‘underwhelmed’ is not a word which can be used in conjunction with or in any way related to Mary Ann Moss. xo Donna
