OK, so you take a pix of yourself with the iPad camera, then you use apps to get the effects you want? I don’t have an iPad yet, but will get one soon. I don’t quite “get” what you’re doing. If you explain this it has to be at the kindergarten level with me, I don’t even pretend to be a geek.
A bamboo stylus works on the iPad? I would think it would scratch the screen. I have a bamboo calligraphic “pen” that I use for some of my art work.

A friend sent me the link to your blog. I suspect it is because I have been/still am OBSESSED with my iPad. You will love Penultimate – I used it to get myself used to drawing with a stylus – and, of course, who can resist little notebooks?

Looks like a plane that mated with a pig with wings carrying some serious melons with pull chains. Ack ACk, run for cover….Opus has fled the building.
I was turning GREEN with envy, I was. I’m not at all proud to admit it, but I was soooooo envious of you and all your cleverness with your new iPad. And then, magically, last night my Dear Husband came home, said let’s go to the mall, took me to the Apple store and bought me my OWN iPAD!!! Of course, it is now wrapped up under the tree, waiting for Christmas morning, but I got a bamboo pen ordered from Amazon this morning, so it will be here, ready to be played with and enjoyed on that upcoming special morning. I also sat here and went through your previous blogs, making note of the apps you are using for the amazingly creative posts you are doing with your iPad. Please keep passing on useful apps. I find it so helpful!
Happy Holidays and have a fine, grand, FESTIVE time in Mexico. I’m trying (very hard) not to be envious of that but I can truly say I am delighted at least one of us will be somewhere warm!

MA-last year, I went to Oaxaca, then drove to San Cristobal and on to Veracruz to the town I was raised in. I remembered San Cristobal from my yewt and couldn’t wait to see it again with big girl eyes. It was everything and more. I blog when were in Mexico for the grannie’s sake. This is the entry from our drive. Be sure to take a pretty big shitcase. You are going to want to bring a large iron house topper home. Trust me on this. A little bubble wrap is a good idea, too.
