When I Close My Eyes I See Istanbul

If you have to get delayed, the CDG airport in Paris is the place to do it.

6 airports later I'm home, but still too jet lagged and out of it to begin to tell a proper story of my travels.  I'll begin with a few photos…of the apartment environs, where down the street from our place we found a lovely spot to write.

Writing quarters inside the apartment were also nice.  In short order we made a mess of the dining table!

We had a long delay in Paris so I had no choice but to buy a classroom pet.  Then pose her in airport chairs.

I've been home less than 24 hours.

    Hope your trip was as wonderful as you’d hoped it would be…rest up, get back into the Madness time zone…guess it takes a couple of days. I get jet lagged when I make the 6 hour trip to San Diego…330 miles, same time zone…takes me three days to recover…HA

  8. Welcome Back. You were missed and I can’t wait to hear the ‘rest of the story’ relax, kick back, get your bearings and when you are ready do ‘tell all’ the ‘teaser’ photos have already got me excited for me and your little friend is a sweetie. I have no doubt you had an amazing adventure.

  11. I am so glad youre back! My co-worker went to Istanbul last week for 5 days and had a blast! Between the two of you, I now want to go!! He saw the underground cities of Capadokya (sp?). Anyhoo, I cant wait to hear about your travels. Do ease into your re-entry! 😀
