A cool evening is beginning in Los Angeles. Here’s what’s opening and closing in the garden on this early summer’s eve. Happy Friday!
I’m zipping outside on my patio to scribble in my journal.
A fire might need to be lit. I might maybe possibly open a bottle of wine. Maybe. I might.
Maybe wine? Hmmmmmpp! Definitely wine!
Just reading “Creative Wildfire” and LOVE seeing your work there! Congrats!!!!
oh wow, what BEAUTIFUL photos, especially the last one. I love it.

oh goodness me…are these ever so pretty to see…mmm, i could stare upon them for hours and hours…just so lovely, so peaceful for one’s heart to behold…blessings Eden
Definitely light a fire – to mirror the fire of the hibiscus. Oh, and, do open the wine. Such an evening on the patio needs that. Enjoy the flowers, the fire and the wine for me too, please. We are having a Siberian summer – either that, or the next ice age is on its way here.
Beautiful blooms!! It’s cool up here in the high desert, too….and the wind is blowing something fierce. A good evening to stay inside and read blogs!
I haven’t seen a single epiphyllum in Portland and I’m in NEED of at least one gorgeous plant. Of course we have no sunshine this year so it probably wouldn’t grow if I found one. What gorgeous girls they are.
My parents moved to Hawaii, from CA, after they retired. My dad fell in love with hibiscus. He had so many beautiful ones around the house. He passed away about 4 years ago, but the ones you have are so unique and beautiful, he would have loved them.
His favorite was the “Hula Girl” which looks a lot like the last one. That is my favorite too!
oh you must open the wine….it would almost be disrespectful not to!
How lovely! Pretty, simple, and pure. So unlike myself…he he he 🙂
