My sister, Carol sent me these journal pages of hers. One of her journals (bottom right) is a Hammerpress notebook. They have super thick lined notebook paper. I have one too and use mine for notes, planning, ideas, misc. She uses it to jot down everyday sorts of things – from lists to doodling. Her other journal is an old book she turned into a journal. I’ll get her to send me photos of both.
I mean, if she’s still talking to me after she sees this post.
My new rose for the spring garden. Sweet Intoxication. The fragrance is heady and definitely intoxicating. It’s one of those powerhouse floribundas.
Wow, I see creativity and wanderlust runs in the family! Your sister’s pages are just lovely. I LOVE your blog. Just love it.

Ok, I’m sorry, but those journal pages are freakin’ amazing. That’s what I want to do when I grow up. I’m retiring in a year or two, so it is on my to do list for then. : ) Thanks for sharing.
Is there anything you and the sisterhood can’t do?
Talent definitely runs in your family! Your sister’s pages are just as fantastic as yours.
Hope you had a good Easter….did you feel the earthquake where you are? Nothing up here but then we’re quite a distance from where it happened.
Her pages are beautiful.
Your sister should know by now what you do when she sends you things! I love her journal! What a splendid character she is!
Her journal pages are gorgeous – I hope she doesn’t resent your sharing them too much.
I’ve seen altered books, but I never saw an old book used as a journal, with entries right over the printed words. True recycling!
Your sister’s journal pages are so pretty! And I love the color of that rose!
Wow, your seester is a great artist! I can’t wait to see more. I love those flowers!
Okay, when is Carol going to teach an on-line journaling class?! Love her pages! And the rose… 🙂
