Sunday is almost gone. Waa! I failed to mention my visit to Bottega Louie on Tuesday. Left my camera in my desk at school, but had the other recording device. Here is my one word review: sublime.
The photo above from their BLOG. And my 29 second video. I don’t think a weekly visit is out of the question.
My sister on the left me on the right. Someone went to Oak Glen this week on an apple pilgrimage.
I went and visited Igor & Andre this week and ended up staying for over an hour. His sketchbooks are compelling.
Go check out Adam Farmer’s sketchbooks too.
I’m outta here! Darkness has fallen and I can hike down to the bottom of the hill and pick up the GIANT portfolio I spotted leaning against a building behind a recycling bin! I’m positive it’s going to be filled with loose sketchbook pages. Wheeeeeeeee!

That salad looks wonderful. I checked their menu, that is the one I would have ordered too. Actually, I may have ordered all the salads!
I have such fond memories of the annual trip to Oak Glen, all the years I lived in California.

and so,… what was in the portfolio? I love finding mysterious discards. And I love seeing pieces of downtown LA; so much is often made of the outskirts, suburbs and shiny parts that the lovely old original city is overlooked. But not by MaryAnn – thanks go to you. Those color cookies are outrageous! Did you try one?
