In a few months I’ll be bound for Merida, Mexico (founded 1542)- in the heart of the Yucatan peninsula! Most of your guesses were in the right vicinity Give me a colonial city in Mexico and I will explore it!
In the meantime I get my color fix by doing laundry and hanging it out to dry.
My dryer hit the skids last year and instead of getting a new one I bought this fold-out clothes-drying rack. Who knew drying laundry could be this fun? Not me!

I got a big rush from seeing the pillow cases with the pink, yellow & blue flowers at the end of the rack. My grandmother made me a set of four pillowcases from that same fabric – years and years ago. I still have them, worn but loved. Where did you find yours?
