Guess who’s coming to town?! MY SISTER!!!!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow morning I’ll head down to LAX and collect her. I always have Tom Waits blasting really loud in the cd player when I pick her up. I know for a fact she appreciates this. I had my hair did, the house spiffed up, and the bat mobile washed.
We’re gonna roll the windows down and head out into the big bad city. Looking for adventure and whatever comes our way. Thankfully it will not be 98 degrees like it was today.
We’ll be going here every morning for our dose of cafe con leche. Then back to Moss Cottage with our guava empanadas and a long porch sit. Talk amongst yourselves until Saturday.

I just had a fantastic visit with my sister I know you will have the same with yours. Are we not lucky to have them in our lives?

I really want to take your class (as does one of my homies), but both of us are finding April-and-May to be verrrrrrrrrry busy.
We are counting on August!!!!!

I love the ceiling at your café…..what a great place to start your mornings….
We’ll be here waiting while you and Sister get down to fun business….I love the idea of an “official cupcake transportation device”.
Only the Moss sisters……

Have a blast with your sister! Thank goodness it’s cooled off a little today. I’m not ready for those 90º+ temps!

Yer sister is so cute!! Just like you. I love your sister adventures. And did I mention I am in serious envy of those eyebrows on both yer faces. I have none, and have to draw them on every day. I really need to cut me some eyebrow stencils to make it easier since my eye SIGHT is failing. Are those really cupcakes in the case?
stephanie says
Looks like a rip-roaring good time will be had!! you forgot to label her glasses though. Certainly those are bat mobile passenger specs? One can’t ride in a freshly washed bat mobile without appropriate eye wear.
If I were to label a picture of my sister in this way, rather than a cupcake case, there would be a baseball bat (to keep me in line), a sleep mask in place of specs (cuz she’s lazy) and rather than GPS she’s have her cell phone glued to her ear likely on the phone with me bitching about how she can’t find my house in this small town with one road. It’s always my fault, you know. It’s that way with little sisters…. 🙂
Have a great visit! Me, myself and I will be talking amongst ourselves. 🙂

So glad you are repeating the class in August, I just can’t swing it right now, but really want to do it! Will it be the same or new videos??
Have a great time with Sister!

I love the gleefulness of you and Sister adventures.
Do those hanging lights have tissue paper papier mache-d balloons as covers?
Maureen says
Sounds like a wild and wonderful time to be had. I even had my hair ‘did’ in sisterhood! (well I done did it but that counts, right?)
Brian Kasstle says
Have fun with your sis! Like who needs to be told to have fun???
And I will be taking the class AGAIN in August! Not that I am gonna fail or drop out…. because I am addicted!!!! And I love it!
Ok now you go out and have fun! But not so much fun you forget to give us Friday’s class…
Cheers!
