Every day after school I put on my play clothes and head out back to the spray paint station. The samples are piling up. Painting, writing, spraying, stenciling, inking. Everything.
And that includes dreaming breaks where I stop to ponder my upcoming 45 day vacation. Many days unwinding slowly, leisurely. Plenty of art-making, no talking, no being talked to. Perfect.

Random gratitude: Thanks for sharing your playlist – I have enjoyed being turned on to music new to me. I like your style! And your generous heart – as made evident by this blog on several levels. Shine on!

Are your play clothes colorful with spray spatters? Do you have spray shoes? I remember my father’s work shoes (he was an artist and a sign painter) gaily decorated with a spectrum of tiny paint dots. We also had a floor intentionally spattered with colors.
