The visual journal grows thick with ideas! The second I finish this post I am situating my arse in the workshop chair, putting the ITunes on shuffle, grabbing my inkiest reddest pen and scribbling all over these pages. It's Saturday in the city of angels and someone is feeling bright-eyed and bushy-tailed!

I love this post if only to show me that I can evolve…I am still on journal no. 1 and the experience is not what I expected…I look and look at the journals that I love to get ideas and I totally recognize that trying to ‘copy’ someone else’s journal is not what they are all about…I’m just feeling stuck on how to find my own style. I appreciate that you took the time to show that your style did not come with the first journal (though it looks great to me).

I love them all. Plus it’s so much fun to sit quietly with you as you thumb through the pages. It all adds up to a mystery; another in a world of mysteries. xo

Love the journals…plus just a quiet look at them puts that extra 3d effect to it…the beads, love the cloth cover of the first..and then the little birds tweeting in the background.

This is good page because your current journal is next door to its early family members. Time leap ahead another seven Januarys (-ies?) and what shall be seen?
These brush strokes are more confident, more vigorous; this page construction more exuberant. Yeah that’s the word for these days, exuberant. Go! Mary Ann!

broke my wrist, no journalling for me for a while, though it was not my dominant hand that broke.
