Good morning bridge.
Good morning Chinatown.
Looking good giant chicken, looking good.
Good morning wild child, good to see you. Where's everyone else?
Here they are, with the big bad city as their backdrop. Firetrucks and ambulances roar down the streets several times a day. Our room is practically in the street. The bungalow walls are paper-thin, It's okay. Chaos feeds the creative imagination.
Take for example the note I sent home on last night's homework. Signatures were requested. It was returned promptly. I admire expediency.
so…
I am wondering
when…
we will kitchen dance
and do the funky chicken
together?
missing you
and
just here gathering-up
my Miss Mossiness

You have the same affection and respect for your students that my good friend Susan W has. Its such a pleasure to witness. Thank you for blogging.

This made my Favorite Blog Post link.
When I saw the title of this post I thought you were sick and needed to go to the dotor and were armed with a list of potential diagnosis’ and treatments so you could help your dotor make you better faster.
I’m undeserved of such praise. Some days the kiddos are like…..huh? what the? who the…..? WHERE’S MISS MOSS? who’s this grumbly ole battle ax? i’m good cop bad cop rolled into one.
Just one of the thousands of reasons I keep coming back here.
Mary Ann, Thank you. This post made my day!!
Yippee! pictures of the city and the kiddos! Most of what I have ever seen of LA has been from the freeways, you make it look so fascinating! From the freeways, not so much.
*Melt* That’s got to be one of the sweetest things I’ve seen in a long time. I pity their 3rd grade teachers who will undoubtedly have to live in the shadow of the fabulously brilliant Ms. Moss. 🙂
What a Mom.
WHAT a teacher 🙂 Those kids love you-you can totally see it 🙂
Those kiddles have such happy faces because Ms Moss is their teacher. I am positive of that.
The cool thing about second graders is that they have enough skills but that they are still very little. That is some “mom” to add the ‘I love you’ in the heart! I had a kindie who forged a month’s worth of nightly reading papers, complete with a scribbly looking adult “signature”. It would have been cute if not so heart rending.
I was expecting the L.A. morning version of “Good Night Moon” for a minute there..
I am always happy to see those faces.
