Hard to imagine something this shockingly PINK and fabulous would find a way to bloom in my chaotic wreck of a garden.
It really really did!

MARY ANN MOSS
Howdy, I'm Mary Ann Moss, the chimp at the helm of this ship. I've been blogging right here since 2007 and exploring the world & driving getaway cars since 1963.
It’s a completely decadent pink flower. LUCKY.
No, seriously.
Where’d you take this?
Life is certainly beautiful everywhere.
Italy, shmitaly…..I like your backyard, too….though I am going to be running wild in Rome myself in a few weeks.
Happy summer, Mary Ann!
little white fireworks coming out of her tummy – she IS a pretty one…

Georgia O’Keefe Lives!
Mary Ann, this is a beautiful sight! Since you say your garden is a “wreck” I suppose this flower was just determined to show off and it sure did. Fabulous! More proof of what a bit of determination can do! Pat at birdnestontheground
Beautiful! I think you’ve answered this question before, but one more time, please. What kind of lens do you use for closeups like this? A macro or just the macro feature on your camera?
Stunning! And you have sunshine. You are blessed. Everything here is cold and shivering.
Oh yeah…your wreck of a garden….
LOOK AT THIS beauty! The details of the pistil and stamen…is that correct? I don’t know, those long white pollen holding stems….lovely!
Gorgeous! Enjoy it while it’s there. Sit and sip cold drinks with it. I also have a chaotic wreck of a garden, but have decided that is Mother Nature’s way, so why try and improve on it?

That is beautiful. I wish I could get plants to bloom. I can grow any green plant though. LOL
