Every day
I see or I hear
something
that more or less
kills me
with delight,
that leaves me
like a needle
in the haystack
of light.

Howdy, I'm Mary Ann Moss, the chimp at the helm of this ship. I've been blogging right here since 2007 and exploring the world & driving getaway cars since 1963.
What an incredible image to imagine….I’m snuggling into that deep haystack right now…..and what beautiful images you have used to illustrate the words.
Do you know the name of the yellow succulent? I just photographed one in Mexico and did a sketch. Some thought it was a bunch of bananas!
ohhh, man, I love Mary Oliver’s words and your images!
you…

lovely poem! I’ve enjoyed your past post on beads of water…and the deep listening. All of this just conjures up creative thoughts! Thank you.
Gorgeous! I love Mary Oliver, and your photos have captured this poem in a most lovely way. Well done!
