A visual journal page and mailart that found its new home.
The back fence is my new staging area.
It was a good day to bring the camera to school. My favorite classroom artist drew people with 3 rows of teeth.
And hid pancakes in his desk. I didn’t want to encourage more pancake hiding by laughing too loud or taking a picture of the crime scene, but I couldn’t help it. Funny is funny.

Oh, that photo of the pancake is priceless. Even though I knew what was coming I exploded with laughter. I couldn’t survive a day with these kids – they are so amazing. I’d turn to pudding.

OMG I’m way too full from way too much to eat to be laughing this hard. 3 rows of teeth. You’re killing me! I must admit I was disappointed when I realized the art circles (as opposed to crop circles) were made from doilies and not from the pancake. Oh, help me. I must quit laughing. I’m so full and it hurts to laugh like this.

What smiles you deliver! 3 rows of teeth adn groovy earrings – great details. Always a joy to see your art….even better to know that your passion runs through you straight to the classroom – sharing cool things with them. That pancake is priceless 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving!! Smooch left, smooch right.

Aww, how cute! I love how children see the world around them so differently (three rows of teeth is too cool -‘better to eat pancakes with’ :)). Loving the doily prints. Happy Thanksgiving!

All that was needed was a hot link of sausage rolled up in that pancake and it would be good to go!
Dollie art is way cool!
Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I agree with Patty, you make me miss my days as a daycare provider (not really), I loved doing art projects with the kids. They were willing to try anything, and experiment like mad.
The pancake is too funny!

I thought you were going to say you “made art”…from the pancakes! (Using it as a stamp or something.) 🙂 Happy Thanksgiving!

Question – Can you eat the pancakes faster if you have 3 rows of teeth? I used to take boxes of jello to school and pour it out into the little jar we were supposed to use for water for our paints and then I would eat it (lick by lick) throughout the day. I always thought I was quite good at hiding it from anyone else. I am pretty sure Mrs. Hartzog never took any photos of it in my desk.
I love the doily art.
New staging area for photos – v.good idea.
Did you get a can of “thanksgiving bliss” catfood for your posse?
