A last stop at Shively Park in Astoria on my way out of town. Foggy, quiet forest. I am drunk on WET with no recovery in sight. Quickly some photos of yesterday’s romp through the green. Today is Portland’s turn.
Thank you dear and faithful readers for the comments and emails along the way. Your interest and enthusiasm really is touching. I’ll have lots of replies to send your way when I get back to LA. For now my internet is limited to morning post and emails to family. This post will be finished….or not….when I am back from romancing Portland at day’s end. Last night I met Judy Wise for dinner. Oh what a firecracker she is! Do not be fooled by her shy demeanor. The woman is a real tart. We ate! We drank! We laughed!
More on THAT later. For now these final shots of my best girl, Astoria. She is a wonder. I’ll miss the shipping channel. sigh.

Beautiful photos. As much as I’ve loved your Astoria-logue, can’t wait to see where you’ve ventured in our old town of PDX…
