I took my Sharpie to a photo of my sister! Sister Stencils. No one is safe. Soon even Mama Moss will find herself Stencilized. SHAZAM! POW! KERPLUNK! ssssssssssssssspray
My visual journal has 1 page left in it. I wish an elf crew would come and sew in the pages for my new one. Making a new book to paint in is not necessarily something I enjoy doing. This past book was made using existing pages and a lot of tape. In the meantime I’ll be using the nice cardboard I found to spray and write on.
I like the way the stencil begins to look after it gets sprayed over and over.
I nearly didn’t survive the breaking of all the wild horsies today. Whew. Sure they’re cute and all but baby horses move around a lot. They wiggle. They neigh loudly when they’re hungry. Their hoofs make loud clattering sounds against the linoleum. They need to go to the bathroom A LOT. While they’re inside learning how to conjugate verbs and capitalize proper nouns they’re dreaming of galloping through wide green pastures with all the other horsies. I mean they were just first graders last week and all. Ms. Moss is all tuckered out. And it’s only Monday.

I love your journals, they’re so inspiring. I spent an hour going over your past posts,(it’s easy to do when you find an interesting site), your work is fabulous.

I just linked over to your journal from a post Judy Wise made. So happy to have found your pages of inspiration! 🙂
At my blog there is a frida kahlo stencil I cut and put in my journal. I love stencil-making. I love your sacred heart, it does look like a wood cut. 🙂

Your posts make my day. Those little horsies are too beautiful for words. And girl, you have me bent over in the driveway spraying stencils, my feet, my new crocs, my journal pages. What fun! This is the best summer ever. (I’m up to 4 colors now but you are right; black and red are the best.)
