Spanish class has heated up with the addition of my sister. Both of us are certain that Alfredo would prefer to wear a crown of thorns rather than have dos muy malo payasos like us in the same class, but what can be done?
Below a few pictures from excursions around town. Today we enjoyed the warm pool waters down the street with a nice family from Mexico City. We practiced our Spanish and they practiced their English. Regretably, Carol had just taken an unbelievably excellent picture of me executing a swan dive into the deep end of the pool when the camera fell into the water thus making it quite impossible to post that picture.
Tomorrow we are going to La Gruta after class to enjoy the healing properties of the hot mineral baths. I’ll do my best to keep my sister from doing anything foolish on the bus ride there. Sometimes this is easier said than done. She’s only been here for 48 hours and she’s already broken a chair, spilled a 5 gallon water bottle all over the kitchen floor, and told the attendent at the pool that she couldn’t wait to “get born” in the water. Who knows what she’ll tell the bus driver tomorrow.

“…bless me Father, for my Sister has arrived…..”
There must be a zillion of us out here watching you two and wishing that we were by your side, bugging the teacher, jumping into Holy Waters and tossing back marg’s.
Have one for us!

Hi
I discovered yr blog a couple of weeks ago, I just wanted to let you know that I really love yr art journals and photos. I love the catholic icons and immaculate hearts etc. Also the flowers, and architecture and all the bright colours. Yr work is very inspiring, I love the raw urban edgy style of yr journals
Kind Regards

Just imagine how funny it would’ve been if it had been Carol who fell into the pool instead of the camera.
