Today is a cooler overcast day in the city of angels. I love these days. They are made for staying inside and piddling. It won’t last though. By Sunday the highs will be close to 90 and all of that bright sun will be knocking on my door begging me to come outside. My garden is an official crime scene. So much to do. Where to begin? After seeing THIS lovely California garden I really need to get busy in my own. When your yard is 12x the size of your house it can be a bit daunting. Nevertheless I should take advantage of this cool weather to at least get some things weeded and pruned.
Meanwhile in the back patio the cat posse lines up to watch the spraypainting sessions. This morning Corky Lynn decided she’d go for an aerial view of the action and got stuck. After she unstuck herself she posed for a few pictures. The other 2 just rolled their eyes.
I attempted to cut out a stencil that I drew. Note to self: practice first BEFORE trying in journal. I also decided to spraypaint the stencils and make prints with them on some copies of some of my old visual journal pages. I won’t bother to point out which is which since it will be fairly obvious.
Finally, I am posting a photo of the scene of the disaster – my art table in all of it’s untidy glory. When your house is only 650 square feet the art table tends to be on the small side. I like to start with a clean table but by the end…well…you know how it goes.

Is it a tea in a cup on the right side of your photo? I always drink tea when I make some creative things… And your cat is beautiful! Greetings from Poland 🙂

Hurray! photos of Corky Lynn Laputah the creator of chaos. oooh she is so pretty. I love her the most, #2 love – the man working on the getaway car, #3 love – “I have woven a parachute out of everything broken”, #4 love – the black spray painted area that looks like an iris or a tulip or a lily leaf, #5 love – the diamond (harlequin) pattern stencil

Look at YOU!
This woman is a serious convert.
It’s ever so nice to have a “familiar” or two looking on. What lovely assistants!
We’re just sitting back, watching you, smiling, and nodding.
Yes…yes indeed…..
